Weekish Review

• Watching Dance Academy eps. I heard from somewhere that Jordan Rodrigues(Christian Reed) was in Central today. I think it was Sarah who saw him.
• Obsessed with the world cup. Watched the second half of the Australia vs Serbia match. Sooo sad yet i'm still pretty proud of the Socceroos. Rach is like in love with Lucas Neil who i find pretty ordinary. She like wants to marry him. Found Tim Cahill posing in a magazine from the VA mag cupboard and ripped out the pages and put them in my bag. They now are pinned to my notice board. The world cup is sorta taking the attention away from wimbeldon which leads me to my next point.
• There was a match between John Isner and Nicholas Mahut that went for 11 hours and 5 minutes. That's crazy. In the end Isner won which must have been so tradgic for Mahut but they should be both proud of themselves. Even the queen came to watch on the third day. They were both written into tennis history for the longest match ever, most number of aces, most number of games and much more.
• Going to watch Wicked! Sooo excited! Got cheap tickets and the cast is coming to out school! i think.
• Masterchef - well Joanne is happy that Joanne left. London week was awesome and callum (my fav to win) did a great job as well. I wanted to eat the dish he made in the super challenge and Aaron used Annie's fav word to described how Clare was running "like a gazelle".
• Juila Gillard is our new prime minister as everyone should know by now and the 7pm project ppl said some funny things about her "Our prime minister is a red head who lives in a flat with her boyfriend eating takeaway". I feel bad for Kev. He wasn't soooooo bad. he was sorta stabbed in the back by his own party. Oh well. Hope Julia does a better job. Yay for the first Australian female prime minister.
• Happy Birthday Amy! yeah. the jealousy is starting to sink in. You're other friend's got you an iPad but you haven't used it yet coz you're scared you're going to break it. haha. Annie, Jo and I went out late night shopping to get a joint prezzie for Amy. We went to dusk and got her this cool rose water scented shaped candle thingo, a sanity gift card and a totally overpriced card. I put the strawberry museli in the bag as extra.
• Just when I thought all tests were over another one comes. failed the maths test. didn't even finish. i don't think we were given enough time. i feel bad coz i probably did know how to do the last two questions just didn't get to them. oh well.
• There are a few movies are coming out or coming soon that I wanna see. Knight and Day, The last airbender, Tomorrow when the war began, Eclipse and Toy Story 3.
• JoLo's Wedding is coming up and I did have a dress but after Dora showed me her's I was considering getting another one that would fit more for the occassion. Well I still have like 2 weeks so yeah.
• Got new earphones! I really needed them. Now i can listen to heaps of stuff. They're cool earphones but somehow annie doesn't know how to put them in her ears. huh?

The Hunger Games Series

BEST BOOKS EVER! okay. maybe not the best. i don't think i have a favourite book anymore but the hunger games and catching fire sure do come close. So unbelievably thrilling, suspenseful, clever and brilliant. The characters are also really well developed. They all have awesome personalities and the whole setting of the stories are amazing. Original plot as well. Seriously couldn't put down the books especially catching fire. i would literally read till 12:30pm because it was so captivating! Even though they were both so worthwhile reading, i think the first book, the hunger games was slightly better. It was a little less repetitive and the storyline was easy to understand yet very descriptive. Lets just say the visual image the book placed in your mind was quite detailed and imaginative. The only thing i didn't like was probably the ending. It was left a bit to open for my liking. Nothing was really that concluded so yeah. 9.5/10!!! The beginning of catching fire was kinda a let down. There were a few twists but things were mostly dragged on and repeated and emphasized too much. Though as you kept reading it became more and more intense and the twists became sooooooo... awesome (i dunno how to describe them). They hit like bomb shells, one after another. Part 3 of Book 2 was probably my favourite out of all of the parts. More characters were introduced and they were a great addition with their awesome names that reflected back on them nicely. I suppose it was genius! Sooo creative! There has also been a small debate on who is the best out of the guy characters. Peeta, Gale or Finnick. I think Finnick would be the first to go, considering he is 24 and just not mentioned enough yet. In my opinion, Peeta is my favourite by tiniest amount because of his personality but Gale is awesome just by the sound of his name. Anyways, the third book Mockingjay will be out in approx 2 months time and I will be sure to get a copy first thing. The hunger games is also going to be a movie but nothing serious has been decided about it yet. I have a feeling this whole series will get big in a year or two's time but in the meantime, get out there and borrow it because i will guarrentee it will be worth it!

Dance Academy

It's weird how you fall for something that is just soooo not your thing. Well I don't know if you watch television at the same time I do because I know for sure rachel just likes to watch merlin and ncis so yeah. Dance Academy just started a couple of days ago and I know it seems stupid because there are so many dance movies/tv series that have exactly the same plot and Dance academy is no different but once again i get caught in its little web. The plot is actually really really lame and there is basically no originality in the whole series and that kinda annoys me coz i don't know why i'm watching it. I think what I do like about it is that they have young actors and actresses like taking a role and some that haven't really been in the acting industry are being led into it which is awesome because I love new young actors that might later on get lead roles in big movies. It's awesome! My fav character would probably have to be Sammy who is played by Tom Green. I don't really know why but maybe it is because his character is pretty open and he sorta i dunno (his hair is pretty cool. haha). Anyways, i am probably wasting my time here because i would suppose you guys all agree with rach and think that ncis and merlin are like way better and maybe i would have to agree too but maybe you could tune into one ep of dance academy on abc at around 5:25pm on weekdays.

I know this song is like on the Eclipse soundtrack but that's porbably not why I love it soo much. It's actually a pretty good song! I think i'm starting to like them a lot. I sorta freaked out when I heard they were coming to Australia even though I knew I probably wouldn't be able to go but it looks awesome anyways. Oh and also i'm going to be putting a heap of videos up and a tonne of b'day related posts. My exams are over so blogging time it is. Can't wait to go shopping as well.
